Pre-amp 808 MK5

It was a pre amplifier that laid the foundation for the Burmester story of success: the legendary 777 was the first piece of high end equipment, developed by Dieter Burmester. It was succeeded by several other successful models. The Reference Line 808 for example, today in its 5th generation, is still regarded as measure of all pre amps worldwide. On the occasion of the company’s 30th anniversary another Burmester pre amplifier saw the light of day. The 077 pursues the tradition of the internationally respected and frequently awarded pre amps from the Burmester manufacture.

The Top Line Pre Amplifier 011 derived from our Reference Line flagship 808 MK5

At the request of numerous analogue-enthusiasts with high expectations regarding an ultimate phono-part, the 011 is equipped with a MC phono input including reversible shellac-equalisation. Hence, the 011 is the first pre amp worldwide with a phono section that allows switching between MC RIAA and shellac (mono) characteristic.

Since 1990, the 909 represents the pinnacle of power amplification in the audio domain; our smaller models 911 and 956 are its direct descendants.
In the eyes of the expert press, the 909 is the “non plus ultra”. And, like all amplifiers from Burmester, the signal path of the 909 is fully balanced from front to end as well as DC-coupled.

The stereo power amp 911 MK3, second largest amp from Burmester, is regarded as one of the most powerful amps on the world market.The so-called “watt giant” is considered to be one of the fastest worldwide. The insights that have been gained during the creation of our internationally awarded power amp 909 have greatly influenced the design of the 911. The 911 MK3 shows the power amp in its 3rd generation.

The Classic Line 036 stereo power amplifier combines many amenities of Burmester’s 911 and 956 power amps in a consolidated design. Likewise, it is constructed fully balanced and completely DC-coupled.

The signal path is free of any distorting capacitors. The intelligent protective circuit monitors the 036 during operation for overheating, DC-offset and overdrive.

The integrated amplifier 032 descends from the internationally awarded family of the Burmester power amps 909, 911 MK3, 956 MK2 and 036. Like all Burmester amplifiers, the 032 is fully balanced and completely DC-coupled.

The Rondo Line integrated amplifier 051 seamlessly joins in with the league of Burmester integrated amps. Resulting from the Burmester X-Amp circuit technology, adopted from the 032, the 051 operates with a wide class-A range and is as a result extremely resistant to distortion
The 051 offers ultra-stable binding posts for speaker cables that can accommodate even large cable lugs. The same binding posts are used for all Burmester speakers. For the integration into home theatre systems, the 051 has a surround through-put. In addition to that, it is completely DC-coupled and equipped with fully balanced amplification stages.
